Pool Standings

To see pool standings for a specific pool, you must first open that pool from the myPools page. Once the pool has been opened, you will be directed to the Pool Standings screen.
While navigating around inside the pool, you can always return to the standings page by selecting the [Pool Standings] menu item.

The pool standings page has two sections. The left section has a list of all the poolies’ teams and summarized data about their team (ie total points, weekly points, games remaining, etc ..).
It is sorted by total points by default, but can be sorted by any value.

As you select teams on the left, the right side of the page will display that team’s players and their values (ie total points, weekly points, games missing, etc…). The player list is sorted in order of total points but can be sorted by any column.

Team Names

By default, team names on the left are the poolie’s name. If a poolie has not filled in their name in their user profile, then their email address will be shown. If you wish to change the name of your team, you can do so by clicking the edit icon beside your team name. You will be prompted for a new team name and then the change will be made.

Note that if you do not see the edit icon, it is because the pool administrator has turned on the poolie lock and is not allowing any more name changes.

Pool Standing Details

Because of space constraints, the columns beside the poolie teams and players are labeled with abbreviations.

You can get a description of what each column is by rolling the mouse over the abbreviation. A small box will pop up and give a description of each column. Also, various icons and links are used on the screen to indicate specific things about a team or player.

Icons and Links

  • – indicates that the player is a lowest scoring player and has been dropped
  • – this icon is a link to the player entry at rototimes.com. This website consolidates news about specific players and is a good way to figure out what is going on with your players. Unfortunately, it only links by last name, so sometimes the link will not take you directly to your player, but to a list of players with a similar last name. When this happens, just select your player from this list and you will get to the entry for your player.
