User Profile

Your account at Armchair Pools has a user profile associated with it. Your profile can be accessed by clicking the [My Profile] button near the top of the page. Your profile is used throughout the site to help identify you to other poolies and to help pool organizers communicate with you. All of the information in your profile is optional, so you do not have to enter anything.

However, it is recommended that you fill in this information to help the site run smoothly.

Armchair Pools respects your personal information. We do not share it with third parties, nor do we use it for intrusive marketing techniques like spamming or phone marketing.

The following information is part of your profile:

Last Name/First Name

Your name is visible only to users from your pools. If you leave your name fields blank, you will be identified within your pools by your email address only.

Contact Phone Number

Your contact phone number is displayed to your pool organizer only. Users from other pools cannot see it. This number provides your pool organizer an alternative way of reaching you on draft day or to discuss any pool issues.

Display my name on invite

Allows any pool organizer that sends you a pool invitation to see your name. This is regardless of whether you accept the invitation or not.

Checking this option helps organizers keep track of who has accepted or declined invitations to their pools.

Receive Promotion information

Armchair Pools will occasionally send you information via email about upcoming events and promotions. If you do not want to receive these emails, simply unselect this option.
