User Accounts

Creating a User Account

In order to use Armchair Pools, you must have a user account and a password. You can get these 2 ways.

1. Create a Pool. When you create a pool, a user account is created for you and your password is emailed to you. For more information on creating a pool, see the Creating A Pool section
2. Get invited to a Pool. When you are invited to a friends pool, a user account is automatically created for you and your password is sent to you.

Email Address

Your account will be created under this address and your password will be emailed to you. Note that the email address is used only to build your account. Armchair pools does not share it with third parties, nor do we use it for intrusive marketing techniques like spamming or email marketing

Password

Specifiy a password that is 8 characters or longer. If you forget this password, you can have it reset and sent to you.

Logging In

You can log into Armchair Pools at the home page. There is a red box with the heading Member Login.
In this box is a place for your email address and password. Enter this information and press the [Login] button.

Logging out

When you are finished with the Armchair Pools site, do not forget to log out. This done by clicking the [Logout] button near the top of the screen.

Forgot Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can have it reset. Simply select the [Forgot your Password?] link in the member login box and your password will be reset.
Your new password will be emailed to you.

Changing Password

Your user information such as first name, last name, and password can be changed under the user profile section. See user profilei for details.
