Changing Team Names
By default, a team name will be the poolies name as specified in their user profile. If no name is specified, the email address becomes the team name. Team names can be changed by the poolie or the pool administrator.
After opening the desired pool from the myPools screen, the poolie can change their team name directly on the [Pool Standings] screen by clicking the [edit] icon beside the team name.
A text window will appear and the poolie will be prompted to pick a new team name.
The poolie is allowed to change their team name only while the pool administrator has turned the Poolie Lock off. Frequent name changes during the pool cause confusion so it is recommended that the pool organizer allow poolies to only edit their team names up until the time the pool starts.
The pool administrator can change team names at any time during the pool. After opening the desired pool from the myPools screen , it can be done under the [Manage Poolies] menu option. Simply select the [edit] icon on the row of the poolie whose name you wish to change. A text window will appear and the administrator will be prompted to pick a new team name.
