Keep at Least Settings
To access a pool’s Keep At Least settings, open the desired pool from the myPools page.
Player roles are then found under the [Pool Settings -> Drop/Keep] menu item. Only users with administrative privileges can see this menu item
These settings are used in conjunction with the Drop Lowest setting.
They allow you to protect a specific number of players of each player role in order to maintain a general team profile.
For example, if teams in your pool consist of 10 players and you want to drop 3 players but ensure you keep at least 4 forwards, 1 defenceman and a goalie, you would enter the following
You can have more than one player role involved in a rule.
For example, if in the example below, you wanted to keep at least 6 skaters and a goalie but didn’t care what role the skaters were, you would enter the following:
You can use the Keep at Least settings to enforce a strict team profile for each team in your pool.
In other words you can ensure that each poolie has only a specific number of players of each player role.
This can be done by setting your drop lowest value to the number of players on each team.
If teams have different numbers of players, set the value to the max team size. Then fill in the Keep At Least settings with the desired profile.
For example, if teams in your pool consists of 10 players and you want to count only the top 5 forwards, 1 defenceman and the one goalie, you would enter the following:
