According to the Buffalo News, Patrick Kane has been arrested for robbing and beating a taxi driver.

[Patrick] Kane, 20, and James M. Kane, 21, were arrested at about 5 a.m. on Eastwood Place, off Main Street near Canisius College, according to Buffalo police reports.

The two allegedly punched the cab driver and grabbed money they had handed him after he told them he didn't have 20 cents in coins to give them their change, the report said.

Their fare was $13.80 and they handed the driver $15, according to a report.

Sounds bad and there is likely some stupid conduct here, but there might be more to the story.

I guess if you have huge arenas of fans cheering you on while you fight with other hockey players, you can get a bit of a superiority complex, especially if you are only 20 years old.

Even if Patrick Kane was drunk at the time, i don’t think that will help him if the cab driver presses charges
