Arguably one of the nastiest players in the game today, Chris Pronger's record speaks for itself. Suspended 8 times for a total of 22 games, Chris shares the dubious distinction of being one of only 3 players in NHL history to have been suspended twice in one playoff season. Just type "Chris Pronger Cheap Shot" into Youtube and you've found your evenings entertainment.
While it is argued that some of his cheap head shots are accidental due to his height, there is nothing accidental two handers to the head and WWF style foot stomping. Both of which, Pronger has performed on multiple occasions.
Check out this "oops-I-was-just-getting-my-foot-free" stomp on Ryan Kesler.
Chris Simon received a 30 game sentence for a similar stomp on Jarkku Ruutu. He was given 30 games and his career was effectively ended. Unfortunately, Pronger only got 8 and he's still around.
Let's just hope he isn't wearing the red Maple Leaf in February.
