Armchair Pools 2010 NHL playoff season is officially open!

All pools created at the site from this point forward will now be playoff pools. They all come with a free 3 week trial that doesn't start expiring until April 11th. So you can try out the site from now until the first week of May absolutely free.

If you've done a hockey pool with us before, you'll notice a the following changes as you set up your new pool

Manage Poolies feature has disappeared
Not really. It has just been renamed to 'Add Teams' and it is still the place to go to add and edit teams in your pool.

Email requirement removed
As of now, you no longer need to provide an email address for teams in your pool. Teams without emails still have access to the pool standings and you can always go back at any time to add emails. However, they are completely optional.

Import Poolies
If you are planning on inviting the same group of friends to your playoff hockey pool, don't type all their names in again. We have implemented an 'Import Poolies' feature that allows you to select poolies from previous pools and automatically add them to your new pool. Check it out when you are organizing your playoff pool.

I created one but got a quick question. Is there a way to remove the old pools I joined and created in my Pool Lists so that I only see my new pool?

Hi there.

Currently, you have to view all of your pools. However, we will be working on an option that lets you hide certain pools. I am not sure when we will do this, but since you mentioned it, we will look at getting it done during the playoffs.

How often can i change my selected players???

Hi Kevin,

This is totally up to your admin. They have the power to lock/unlock your access to the pick player screen. So send them an email and ask before the games start!

Just a note regarding hiding old pools. You can now click the eye icon to hide specific pools to show all hidden pools.
